Held on the second Sunday after the feast of Sant Lluc, towards the end of October or occasionally on the first Sunday of November, this fair has established itself year after year as one of the most popular in Mallorca. As well as showcasing the vitality of local businesses, shops and artisans, it is a festive day when the village fills with stalls offering crafts, livestock, agricultural machinery and vehicles. In the week before and after the fair — and especially over the same weekend — the village hosts a wide range of leisure, cultural and artistic activities. For several years now, on the Friday before the fair, the Pla i Llevant Denomination of Origin, based at the Molí de n’Amengual in Porreres, has held a lively wine tasting event. Fair day is also a great opportunity to discover the gastronomic delights on offer at the village’s bars and restaurants, from the classic tapas selections to the more refined dining experiences.
